At Boutsen Dierenspeciaalzaak - Hengelsport, we are committed to delivering your pet essentials safely and promptly. All orders are carefully inspected, securely packaged, and dispatched directly from our physical store and fulfillment base located in Maasmechelen, Belgium.
Order Processing & Cut-Off Time
- Order Cut-Off Time: 15:00 (3:00 PM) Central European Time (CET / CEST, Brussels).
- Handling / Processing Time: 1 – 2 business days (Monday to Friday). Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, or Belgian public holidays will begin processing on the following business day.
- Dispatch: Once processed and verified, packages are handed over to our regional postal and parcel carriers (such as bpost / PostNL / DPD).
Shipping Destinations, Rates & Delivery Estimates
We ship to Belgium and neighboring Netherlands. Shipping costs are clearly displayed at checkout before payment confirmation:

In-Store Pickup (Free)
Customers located in or near Maasmechelen can opt for free local pickup at our retail store: Joseph Smeetslaan 111, 3630 Maasmechelen. You will receive an email notification when your items are packed and ready for collection during normal business hours.
Order Tracking
As soon as your package is dispatched, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email containing your direct parcel tracking link and tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier system to update tracking scans after parcel handover.
Customs & Import Duties
Because all orders are fulfilled and delivered within the European Union (Single Market), there are no customs duties or import taxes applicable for deliveries within Belgium or the Netherlands. Prices listed on the website include statutory Belgian VAT.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your parcel arrives damaged or fails to arrive within the expected delivery window, please notify our team within 48 hours of receipt. Retain all original packaging material and send clear photos of the damage to support@boutsendierenspeciaalzaakhengelsport.com
